Rapilif D 8 New Capsule 10

Rapilif-D 8 New Capsule is used in men to relieve urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate, improving urine flow and reducing discomfort.

Uses of Rapilif-D 8 New Capsule are:

• Enlarged Prostate (BPH): Provides symptomatic relief of lower urinary tract symptoms in men.
• Urine Flow: Helps with difficulty starting urination, a weak stream, dribbling, and incomplete emptying of the bladder.
• Long-term Prostate Management: The 5-alpha reductase inhibitor component helps reduce prostate size over time.

• Take the Rapilif-D 8 New capsule with a glass of water.
• Swallow the capsule as a whole, do not crush or chew it.
• This medication should be taken preferably with meals.
• Rapilif-D 8 New capsule is recommended to be taken at a fixed daily time.

Rapilif-D 8 New capsule should be taken orally.

Rapilif-D 8 New capsule contains the following components: 

• Silodosin (8 mg): It is an alpha adrenergic antagonist that works by blocking the alpha 1A type of adrenoceptors located in the prostate gland, urethra and urinary bladder. It leads to the relaxation of smooth muscles in these locations. thus, easing urinary flow.
• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): It is 5 alpha reductase inhibitor that works by inhibition of both type 1 and 2 of 5-alpha reductase. It is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to 5-alpha dihydrotestosterone. It is responsible for the initial development and subsequent enlargement of the prostate gland.

• Store Rapilif-D 8 New capsule at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect Rapilif-D 8 New capsule from light and moisture.
• Keep it away from children and pets
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Reduce the intake of substances that increase diuresis like coffee, and alcohol.
• Perform regular pelvic exercises for symptomatic relief. 
• In case of anticipated eye surgery for cataracts, or glaucoma, inform the doctor about your consumption of this medicine.
• Get your PSA (Prostate-specific antigen) levels checked regularly to rule out the development of cancer in the Prostate gland as well as to document improvement in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.
