Prostagard-D8 Capsule is used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia in men. It helps relax the prostate and bladder muscles while reducing prostate size, improving urine flow, decreasing night-time urination, and relieving incomplete bladder emptying.

Prostagard-D8 Capsule contains two active ingredients — silodosin and dutasteride.

• Silodosin is an alpha receptor blocker that works by relaxing the smooth muscles found in the bladder and prostate, thereby improving urine flow.
• Dutasteride blocks the production of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone responsible for prostate enlargement. By inhibiting this hormone, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and alleviate symptoms.
