Prostagard-D 8 Capsule is used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. It helps relax the prostate and bladder muscles while reducing prostate size. This improves urine flow, decreases night-time urination, and alleviates incomplete bladder emptying, improving quality of life and urinary function.

2. Take Prostagard-D8 Capsule at the same time every day, preferably after meals.
3. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it.

Prostagard-D8 Capsule is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It should not be taken by any other route.

Prostagard-D8 Capsule contains two active ingredients — silodosin and dutasteride.

• Silodosin is an alpha receptor blocker that works by relaxing the smooth muscles found in the bladder and prostate, thereby improving urine flow.
• Dutasteride blocks the production of dihydrotestosterone, a hormone responsible for prostate enlargement. By inhibiting this hormone, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and alleviate symptoms.
