Silosam D 8 Tablet 15 is used to manage urine flow.

Uses of Silosam D 8 Tablet 15 are:

• Urine Flow: Improves urine flow.
• Prostate Size: Gradually reduces the size of the prostate over time.
• Symptom Relief: Reduces urgency and dribbling, supporting comfortable bladder emptying and improving quality of life for those with BPH.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.
• Take it at the same time each day, with or without food.

Silosam D 8 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

The efficacy of Silosam D 8 Tablet 15 lies in its two active ingredients:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): Dutasteride acts by inhibiting an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase in your body. This enzyme is responsible for converting testosterone into a compound called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which plays a key role in enlarging the prostate gland. By reducing DHT levels, dutasteride contributes to shrinking the prostate, thereby decreasing BPH symptoms over time.
• Silodosin (8 mg): Silodosin works by selectively blocking alpha-1 receptors found in certain smooth muscles within your body specifically those in the prostate, bladder base, bladder neck, and prostatic capsule. The blocking of these receptors results in the relaxation of these muscles, easing urination and reducing symptoms such as urinary frequency and urgency.
