CTD 12.5 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) and to help manage fluid retention (oedema) in adults with heart, kidney or liver conditions.
It contains chlorthalidone (12.5 mg), a thiazide-like diuretic. Take it as prescribed, preferably in the morning to reduce nighttime urination.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any kidney disease, gout, diabetes or electrolyte imbalance before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report muscle cramps, marked weakness, dizziness on standing or signs of dehydration.
