Revelol XL 25 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure, angina and certain irregular heart rhythms. It is also used in heart failure, to help prevent migraine and to ease symptoms of an overactive thyroid.

It contains metoprolol, a beta-blocker, in an extended-release form. It works steadily over the day by slowing the heart rate and reducing the heart's workload.

Take it regularly as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as this can cause a dangerous rise in blood pressure or heart rate.

Tell your doctor about any asthma, a slow heart rate, diabetes or circulation problems before use. For migraine, it prevents attacks rather than treating a headache that has started.
