Sildoo D Plus 8 Capsule 10 is primarily used to manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men, a condition in which the prostate gland enlarges. This medicine is a combination medication containing two active ingredients.

Managing symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia in adult males with an enlarged prostate
Providing symptomatic relief by reducing the size of the prostate over time

To use Sildoo D Plus 8 Capsule 10, follow these steps:

Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component works as a selective inhibitor of both type 1 and type 2 isoforms of 5α-reductase, an enzyme crucial in converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is mainly responsible for prostate growth; hence, by lowering DHT levels in the prostate, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and improves BPH symptoms.

Alcohol

The interaction of alcohol with this medication is unknown. It's advisable to restrict alcohol consumption while taking Sildoo D Plus 8 Capsule 10. If you regularly drink alcohol, please consult your doctor.

Liver

If you have mild to moderate liver problems, caution is advised when taking Sildoo D Plus 8 Capsule 10. This medicine should not be taken if you have severe liver disease as it may affect liver function. Discuss your liver health with your doctor before starting this medication.

Kidney
