Zerodol-SP Tablet is used to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle and joint injuries, dental pain and pain following surgery.
It is a combination medicine containing aceclofenac, an anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID), paracetamol, which relieves pain and lowers fever, and serratiopeptidase, an enzyme said to help reduce swelling. Take it as prescribed, preferably with food or milk to reduce stomach discomfort, and avoid taking other paracetamol-containing medicines alongside it.
Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can raise the risk of stomach irritation and liver strain, and do not combine it with other anti-inflammatory painkillers unless your doctor advises this.
Tell your doctor about any stomach ulcers, kidney, liver or heart problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before starting this medicine. Seek prompt medical advice if you notice severe stomach pain, black stools or unusual bruising, and do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
