Alphacept-D8 Tablet is used to manage the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in adult men, improving urine flow and reducing the need for BPH-related surgery.
It contains silodosin, an alpha-1 blocker, and dutasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. Take the tablet as prescribed, generally with food at the same time each day, and continue treatment as directed even if symptoms improve.
Limiting caffeine and alcohol in the evening, and avoiding large fluid intake before bedtime, can help reduce night-time urination alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have liver problems or low blood pressure before starting. Report severe dizziness, fainting, or a prolonged and painful erection immediately, and inform your doctor before any eye surgery, as this medicine can affect the pupil during cataract operations.
