Dosin-D Capsule is primarily used to manage benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. It alleviates common symptoms of an enlarged prostate, including difficulty starting urination, weak urine flow, frequent urination, and nocturia. By improving urinary flow and reducing bladder discomfort, this tablet helps enhance quality of life for individuals suffering from BPH, ensuring better control over urinary symptoms.

• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.
• If swallowing is difficult, sprinkle the contents on applesauce and swallow without chewing, followed by a glass of water.
• Continue taking this medicine even if symptoms improve, unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Don't double up on doses.

Dosin-D Capsule is taken orally.

Dosin-D Capsule consists of two active ingredients that work together in a unique way:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): As a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, dutasteride blocks the action of an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase in your body. This enzyme transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone responsible for prostate growth. By reducing DHT production, dutasteride leads to a gradual shrinking of the prostate over time, leading to improved urine flow and reduced BPH symptoms.
• Silodosin (8 mg): Silodosin falls under the category of alpha-1 adrenergic antagonists. It operates by relaxing the smooth muscles in your prostate gland and bladder neck by blocking alpha-1 receptors. This relaxation allows urine to flow more easily through your urethra and out of your body, relieving symptoms such as hesitancy, weak stream, and incomplete emptying.
