Geriflo-D Tablet is used in men to manage urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). It improves urine flow, reduces difficulty starting urination, and decreases the need to urinate frequently or urgently.
It contains tamsulosin, which relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, and dutasteride, which gradually shrinks the prostate. Take it whole at the same time each day as prescribed, and continue it regularly because the full benefit may take several months.
Keeping a normal daily fluid intake, reducing caffeine and alcohol, and rising slowly from sitting or lying down can help manage symptoms and dizziness alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver problems, low blood pressure or planned cataract surgery before use. Women who are pregnant or could become pregnant must not handle damaged tablets because dutasteride can harm a developing male baby. Report fainting, a prolonged painful erection, or significant breast changes promptly.
