CompositionTamgress D Capsule is a combination medicine used to manage the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate, a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in adult men. It helps improve urine flow and relieve bothersome symptoms such as difficulty starting urination and a frequent need to pass urine.
It contains tamsulosin and dutasteride. It should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily after a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Continue taking it regularly as prescribed, as full clinical benefit may take several weeks or months to develop.
Lifestyle adjustments can support treatment and help improve urinary comfort. These include reducing fluid intake in the evening before bedtime, limiting caffeine and alcohol consumption, and avoiding delaying urination when the urge arises.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, low blood pressure, or are taking other medicines. Stand up slowly from sitting or lying down to avoid dizziness. Women who are pregnant or planning to conceive must not handle these capsules.
