Normpro Tablet 10

Normpro Tablet 10 is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. It improves urine flow by relaxing the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, easing symptoms such as weak stream, difficulty starting urination, and frequent urination. The medicine also reduces night-time urination, improving daily comfort and quality of life.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Avoid chewing, crushing, or opening the tablet to prevent irritation.
• Always take this medicine approximately 30 minutes after the same meal every day.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Normpro Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Normpro Tablet 10 comprises two active ingredients:

• Tamsulosin Hydrochloride (0.4 mg): This ingredient selectively blocks α1A-adrenergic receptors located in the prostate and bladder neck. Blocking these receptors leads to the relaxation of smooth muscles in these areas, reducing resistance to urine flow. Tamsulosin doesn't shrink the prostate but works by improving urine flow.
• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component works by inhibiting an enzyme in your body called 5α-reductase. This enzyme is responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that contributes to prostate growth. By reducing levels of DHT, dutasteride helps shrink the size of the prostate over time.

• Store your Normpro Tablet 10 at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep it away from direct light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children to ensure their safety.

• Menage your fluid intake: Drinking plenty of water can help with urinary symptoms. However, limit drinks in the evening to avoid frequent urination at night.
• Maintain a balanced diet: Consuming a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains can support overall health and potentially alleviate symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate.
