It contains telmisartan and amlodipine, two medicines that lower blood pressure in different ways. It can be taken with or without food. Take it as prescribed and continue regularly even if you feel well.
Lifestyle changes help control blood pressure alongside this medicine. These include reducing salt, eating plenty of fruit and vegetables, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or if you are taking other medicines. Your doctor may check your kidney function and potassium from time to time. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
