Electral Powder is used for restoring fluids and essential electrolytes lost due to dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, excessive sweating, or heat exposure. It is a WHO-recommended Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) formulation containing glucose and important electrolytes that help replace lost body fluids and maintain electrolyte balance. It supports proper hydration, helps reduce weakness, and promotes faster recovery during dehydration. Electral Powder is suitable for both adults and children when prepared and consumed according to the recommended instructions or under medical guidance.

• Dextrose: A simple sugar that provides quick energy and enhances the absorption of sodium and water in the intestines, supporting effective rehydration.
   
• Potassium Chloride: Supplies potassium, an essential electrolyte that helps maintain fluid balance, nerve function and muscle contraction and is crucial for managing potassium deficiency.
   
• Sodium Chloride: Commonly known as table salt, it helps replenish sodium, an electrolyte lost through dehydration. Sodium helps regulate fluid balance, blood pressure and is vital for nerve and muscle function.
   
• Sodium Citrate: Acts as a buffer to correct metabolic acidosis, which can occur during diarrhoea. It helps in balancing the body’s pH and maintaining electrolyte equilibrium.
