Flokind-D 0.4/0.5 SR Tablet is used to manage the urinary symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men, including difficulty starting urination, a weak stream and incomplete bladder emptying.
It combines tamsulosin, an alpha-1 blocker, and dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that shrinks the prostate over time. Take it after a meal as prescribed.
Keeping to all follow-up appointments and monitoring of PSA levels supports safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver disease, low blood pressure or planned cataract surgery before starting. Women who are or may become pregnant must not handle broken or leaking tablets, as dutasteride is teratogenic. Report signs of prostate cancer or breast changes.
