Flokind D Tablet 10

Flokind-D Tablet is used to manage urinary symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia by relaxing the prostate and bladder muscles to improve urine flow. It helps reduce difficulty in urination, frequent urination during the day and night, urinary urgency, weak urine stream, and incomplete bladder emptying caused by an enlarged prostate.

• Take one tablet at the same time every day.
• Consult your doctor for specific advice on when and how to take this medicine.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's close to the next scheduled dose.
• Avoid doubling doses to make up for missed ones.

Flokind D Tablet is taken orally. It should not be used in any other way.

Flokind D Tablet contains two active ingredients: tamsulosin and dutasteride.

• Tamsulosin works by relaxing the muscles of the bladder and prostate, allowing for easier passage of urine.
• Dutasteride helps reduce the size of an enlarged prostate by inhibiting the activity of an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which contributes to prostate enlargement. By reducing DHT levels, dutasteride helps shrink the enlarged prostate.

• Store Flokind D Tablet in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Protect the medicine from moisture by keeping it in the original packaging or using a moisture-resistant container.
• Keep the medicine out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
• Make sure to use Flokind D Tablet before its expiry date mentioned on the package.

• Maintain a healthy diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support overall prostate health.
• Stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water throughout the day.
• Limit your intake of caffeine and alcohol, as they can irritate the bladder and worsen urinary symptoms.
• Avoid consuming large amounts of fluids before bedtime to reduce nighttime urination.
• Engage in regular physical exercise such as walking or cycling to improve overall well-being.
• Practice stress management techniques.
