Wikoryl 10 Tablet 15

Wikoryl 10 Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of hay fever and upper respiratory allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and nasal congestion. It helps clear nasal passages and decongest sinus openings, providing relief from allergy-induced discomfort.

• Take the tablet with a glass of water.
• Swallow the tablet as a whole, do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Take it in the dosage suggested by your doctor. 
• It can be taken with or without food, however it should be taken with food to avoid side effects such as nausea and vomiting. 

Wikoryl Tablet should be taken orally. 

Wikoryl Tablet contains the following components:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg): It is an antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction. By inhibiting histamine, it helps relieve symptoms associated with allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.
• Paracetamol (500 mg): It is a pain reliever and fever reducer. It belongs to the drug class called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It works by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the body that contribute to pain and fever.
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (10 mg): It is a nasal decongestant that belongs to the drug class called sympathomimetic decongestants, which are used to relieve nasal congestion. It constricts the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. It helps relieve symptoms of nasal congestion, such as a stuffy or blocked nose.

• Store Wikoryl Tablet at room temperature below 30℃.
• Protect the medicine from heat and light.
• Keep the tablet away from the reach of children.
• Do not use the tablet after the expiry date has passed.

• Drink plenty of fluids, such as water, herbal teas, and clear broths, to help keep your body hydrated. Staying hydrated can help reduce symptoms of a common cold or respiratory congestion.
• Consume a balanced diet with a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. A well-balanced diet provides essential nutrients that support your immune system and overall health.
• Get plenty of rest to allow your body to recover. Adequate sleep and relaxation can help boost your immune system and aid in your recovery from illness.
• If you are a smoker, consider reducing or quitting smoking, as smoking can worsen respiratory symptoms and interfere with the medication's effectiveness.
• Frequent handwashing with soap and water can help reduce the risk of spreading or contracting infections, especially during cold and flu seasons.
• Using a humidifier in your living space can help keep the air moist and relieve symptoms like nasal congestion.
