CompositionUrimax-D Tablet is used to treat urinary symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH) in men, such as a weak urine stream, frequent night-time urination and a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. It helps reduce the risk of urinary retention and the future need for surgery.
It contains tamsulosin, which relaxes the muscles of the bladder neck and prostate, and dutasteride, which blocks the hormone that drives prostate growth, gradually shrinking the gland.
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, and swallow it whole.
Rise slowly from sitting or lying down, as this medicine can lower blood pressure and cause dizziness. Women who are or may become pregnant should not handle the capsules.
