URIDAX D TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Management of enlarged prostate gland
• Relief of urinary flow problems
• Reducing frequent urination
• Decreasing urgency to urinate
• Improving incomplete bladder emptying
• Managing nocturia in prostate enlargement
• Reducing straining during urination
• Prevention of acute urinary retention
• Lowering risk of BPH-related complications

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Take this medicine approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day.
• Do not chew, crush, or open the tablet.
• Avoid contact with tablet contents as it may irritate your mouth or throat.
• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.
• Rise slowly from sitting or lying positions to avoid dizziness.
• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

URIDAX D TABLET 10 is taken orally.

URIDAX D TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component is a 5α-reductase inhibitor that blocks the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the primary hormone responsible for prostate growth, and by reducing DHT levels, dutasteride helps shrink the enlarged prostate gland over time.
• Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): This works as an α1-adrenergic receptor antagonist that specifically targets the smooth muscles in the prostate, bladder neck, and urethra. By relaxing these muscles, tamsulosin improves urine flow and reduces symptoms like hesitancy, straining, and incomplete bladder emptying.

• Keep the container tightly closed to protect from light and moisture.
• Store in the original packaging to maintain quality.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.
• Discard any unused medicine properly.

• Limit your caffeine and alcohol intake, as these can irritate your bladder and worsen benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate enlargement) symptoms like frequent urination and weak urine flow.
• Stay physically active with regular moderate exercise, such as walking or swimming, which can help reduce lower urinary tract symptoms associated with prostate enlargement.
