Tellzy Ch 40 Tablet 15

Tellzy-CH 40 Tablet is used to manage essential hypertension (primary high blood pressure). It combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Chlorthalidone, a thiazide diuretic, to help lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing excess fluid in the body. This combination helps improve overall blood flow and supports better control of blood pressure when taken as prescribed.

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet correctly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a diuretic, chlorthalidone works by increasing the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water from your kidneys. This action reduces the volume of blood in your body and consequently lowers blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component selectively blocks angiotensin II from binding to its receptor in vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland. In doing so, telmisartan inhibits the blood vessel narrowing and aldosterone secreting effects of angiotensin II. This leads to wider blood vessels, reduced secretion of aldosterone, and decreased resistance within your blood vessels.

• Store Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct light and moisture.

• Ensure the medicine is out of reach of children.

• Incorporate low-sodium foods into your diet as this medicine is used to manage hypertension, and excessive sodium can increase blood pressure.
