Tellzy Ch 40 Tablet 15

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Essential hypertension, also known as primary high blood pressure

• Edema or fluid retention related to congestive heart failure, a condition where your heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should

• Fluid buildup due to liver cirrhosis, a late stage of scarring (fibrosis) of the liver caused by various liver diseases and conditions

• Oedema associated with corticosteroid and oestrogen therapy, where these hormonal medicines cause fluid retention

• Managing oedema due to different forms of kidney dysfunction such as nephrotic syndrome (a kidney disorder causing your body to excrete too much protein in your urine), acute glomerulonephritis (inflammation in the tiny filters in your kidneys), and chronic renal failure (longterm, gradual loss of kidney function)

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet correctly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Never stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet is taken orally.

Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): As a diuretic, chlorthalidone works by increasing the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water from your kidneys. This action reduces the volume of blood in your body and consequently lowers blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component selectively blocks angiotensin II from binding to its receptor in vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal gland. In doing so, telmisartan inhibits the blood vessel narrowing and aldosterone secreting effects of angiotensin II. This leads to wider blood vessels, reduced secretion of aldosterone, and decreased resistance within your blood vessels.

• Store Tellzy-Ch 40 Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep it away from direct light and moisture.

• Ensure the medicine is out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date on the package before use, and avoid taking any tablet past its expiry date.

• Incorporate low-sodium foods into your diet as this medicine is used to manage hypertension, and excessive sodium can increase blood pressure.

• Regular physical activity can help lower high blood pressure. Consider incorporating exercises like brisk walking or cycling into your daily routine. Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regimen.
