CompositionXtor 20 Tablet is used to lower high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It is a single-ingredient statin containing atorvastatin.
It lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while raising good cholesterol (HDL), which reduces the long-term risk of heart attack and stroke. Take it with or without food, at a regular time, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when your cholesterol levels normalise.
Eat less saturated fat by cutting down on fried food, ghee and butter, exercise regularly, keep to a healthy weight, limit alcohol and quit smoking.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems or a history of heavy alcohol use, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report persistent unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
