Soframycin Cream is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial skin infections, including infected cuts, wounds, and minor burns. It is also effective against ulcers, boils, impetigo, and secondary infections caused by scabies or lice. Additionally, it can be used for sycosis barbae, paronychia, and certain ear canal infections like otitis externa.

To ensure the effective use of Soframycin cream, follow these instructions:

• Clean the affected area with mild soap and water.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area.
• Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is absorbed.
• Use the cream as directed by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream.
• Do not use this cream in or around your eyes, including eyelids.
• In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.

• Soframycin should be applied externally, as it is a topical skin cream.

• This cream contains framycetin as its active ingredient, which is a topical antibiotic. This antibiotic works by killing the bacteria responsible for the skin infection. It inhibits the growth of bacteria, thereby making it easier for the symptoms to be reduced and the underlying infection to be eventually cured.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Soframycin cream away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Before applying Soframycin cream, clean the affected area gently with mild soap and water. Keeping the skin clean and free from dirt and debris can help prevent further infection and promote healing.
• Depending on the nature of the skin infection being treated, your healthcare professional may recommend using a suitable moisturiser in conjunction with Soframycin cream. Moisturisers can help keep the skin hydrated and prevent dryness or flakiness.
• If you have identified any specific triggers or irritants that exacerbate your skin condition, try to avoid them. This may include certain soaps, detergents, fragrances, or other chemicals that could potentially worsen the symptoms or irritate the skin.
• Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day to maintain proper hydration. Hydrated skin tends to be healthier and more resilient.
• Consuming a balanced diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats can support overall skin health. Nutrients such as vitamins A, C, E, and zinc are particularly beneficial for skin health.
• Shield the affected area from excessive sun exposure, as sunlight can sometimes worsen skin conditions. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and seek shade during peak sun hours.
• It's important to refrain from picking, scratching, or excessively touching the affected area, as this can delay healing and increase the risk of further infection.

• Apply the Soframycin cream regularly to prevent the spread of bacteria on your cuts, wounds or burns. In extreme cases, reach out to the health care professional. 
• The cream should be applied externally and regularly and as per the directions of your health care professionals. 
• Once you have applied the Soframycin cream, avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and ears. In case of accidental contact, rinse off immediately and in case of ingestion, consult the doctor immediately.
