To use Itch Guard + Cream 12gm correctly, follow these instructions:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of Itch Guard + Cream 12gm to the infected area and its surroundings.
• Gently rub the cream into your skin until it's fully absorbed.
• After application, wash your hands thoroughly unless they're the area being treated.
• Avoid covering or bandaging the treated area unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• Be careful not to get the cream in your eyes, nose, mouth, or mucous membranes. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with water.

Itch Guard + Cream 12gm contains terbinafine (1 %), which operates on your body as follows:

• Inhibits Squalene Epoxidase: The active ingredient, terbinafine, hinders an enzyme called squalene epoxidase in fungus cells. This enzyme produces ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes.
• Damages Fungal Cell Membrane: By blocking the production of ergosterol through squalene epoxidase inhibition, terbinafine disrupts the fungal cell membrane. As a result, the fungus cells lose their functionality and eventually die off.

• Store Itch Guard + Cream 12gm at room temperature.
• Keep the cream in a dry place, away from direct heat and light.
• Ensure the lid is tightly closed after each use to prevent air exposure.
• Always keep Itch Guard + Cream 12gm out of reach of children.

• If you're managing an athlete's foot or jock itch, remember to change your socks and underwear daily. Moist environments can encourage fungal growth, so keeping these areas dry can help manage these conditions.
