Temsunol-D Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms in adult men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (an enlarged prostate gland). It improves urine flow and lowers the risk of acute urinary retention.
It contains tamsulosin and dutasteride. Tamsulosin relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, while dutasteride reduces prostate size over time. Take the tablet as prescribed, preferably after the same meal each day. Continue taking it long-term as advised by your doctor to maintain symptom improvement.
Lifestyle adjustments can support urinary comfort. Limit fluid intake in the late evening, reduce caffeine and alcohol consumption, and rise slowly from sitting or lying down to prevent lightheadedness.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, low blood pressure, or plan to undergo cataract surgery. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant must not handle crushed or broken tablets. Contact your doctor if you experience persistent dizziness or allergic reactions.
