Temsunol D Tablet 10

Temsunol-D Tablet is used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland in men, such as difficulty urinating or frequent nighttime urination. It works by relaxing bladder muscles and improving urine flow. This medicine helps reduce discomfort and prevents complications caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), supporting better urinary health.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• It is best to take this medicine around 30 minutes after the same meal each day.

• Do not alter your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you start feeling better.

Temsunol-D Tablet is taken orally.

Temsunol-D Tablet consists of the following two components:

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This ingredient stops an enzyme in your body called 5-alpha-reductase from converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is primarily responsible for the growth of the prostate gland. By reducing DHT production, dutasteride helps shrink the enlarged prostate and lessen BPH symptoms.

• Tamsulosin (0.4 mg): Known as an alpha-blocker, tamsulosin works by relaxing the smooth muscles in your prostate gland and bladder neck. This action allows urine to flow more easily through your urethra, improving BPH symptoms such as difficulty in starting urination or a weak urine stream.

• Store Temsunol-D Tablet in a cool and dry place.

• Ideal storage temperature is below 30°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Use it before the expiry date mentioned on the product packaging.

• Regular physical exercise can help manage symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Try to include activities like walking or swimming in your routine.

• Limit your intake of liquids in the evening to prevent frequent urination at night. Also, avoid alcohol and caffeine as they can irritate your bladder.
