CompositionCetrizine Tablet 10 is an antihistamine medicine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itchy throat. It is also prescribed for chronic skin allergies, hives (urticaria), and insect bite reactions.
It contains cetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine. Take the tablet as prescribed with or without food. Although cetirizine is less likely to cause drowsiness than older antihistamines, caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Avoiding known environmental allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, and pet dander, helps improve allergy control alongside medication.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have severe kidney impairment or epilepsy. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding before starting this medicine.
