CompositionFinobrate-145 Tablet is used to manage abnormal blood fats in people with high cholesterol and high triglycerides. It lowers triglycerides and LDL ("bad") cholesterol while helping to raise HDL ("good") cholesterol, which helps reduce the build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries.
It contains fenofibrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called fibrates. Take it daily as prescribed, usually with food. Keep taking it even when you feel well, as it works over the long term.
A diet low in saturated fat and refined sugar, regular physical activity, keeping to a healthy weight, limiting alcohol and quitting smoking support better blood fat levels alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or gallbladder problems before starting, and about other medicines you take, especially statins. Regular blood tests check your liver. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness.
