OLMO AM TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)
• Lowering the risk of severe heart-related events like strokes and heart attacks
• Relief from symptoms of chronic stable angina and chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart
• Alleviating symptoms of vasospastic angina, chest pain caused by the temporary narrowing of the coronary arteries

• Swallow the tablet whole with sufficient water.
• Avoid breaking or chewing the tablet.
• The medicine can be taken with or without food.
• Stick to a regular schedule to ensure a consistent effect, ideally taking the tablet at the same time every day.

OLMO AM TABLET 10 is taken orally.

OLMO AM TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to manage high blood pressure:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. It works by preventing calcium from entering the cells of your heart and arteries, causing them to relax and widen. This reduction in muscle tension leads to a decrease in blood pressure.
• Olmesartan medoxomil (20 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the action of a natural body substance called angiotensin II, which tightens your blood vessels. When blocked, your blood vessels relax and widen, which lowers your blood pressure.
