Azmarda 50 Tablet contains two active ingredients: sacubitril and valsartan.

• Sacubitril works by inhibiting an enzyme called neprilysin. This enzyme breaks down substances in the body that promote fluid retention and blood vessel constriction. By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril helps increase levels of these beneficial substances, reducing fluid retention and improving blood flow.
• Valsartan belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which causes blood vessels to narrow. By blocking angiotensin II, valsartan helps relax and widen the blood vessels, reducing resistance against which the heart has to pump.

The combined action of sacubitril and valsartan in Azmarda 50 Tablet helps improve heart function by reducing fluid retention, promoting blood vessel relaxation, and enhancing blood flow throughout the body.
