Cilacar 20 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). As a calcium channel blocker, it relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving circulation and lowering blood pressure. It helps reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes while promoting overall heart health.

Follow these instructions while taking Cilacar 20 Tablet :

1. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking, crushing or chewing it.
2. Try to take the medicine at the same time each day, with or without food, as per your doctor's advice.
3. It's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first, even if you feel better.
4. Remember that regular monitoring of your blood pressure is essential while on this medication.

Cilacar 20 Tablet contains Cilnidipine (20 mg). Here's how it works:

• Inhibition of Calcium Ion Influx: Cilnidipine acts by blocking the influx of calcium ions into your vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells. These are different types of cells found in your blood vessels and heart.
• Relaxation of Blood Vessels: Cilnidipine blocks calcium ion influx and blood vessels relax and widen. This process is known medically as vasodilation.
• Decrease in Blood Pressure: As blood vessels relax, there is less resistance against which the heart has to pump blood, leading to a decrease in blood pressure.
• Prevention of Cardiovascular Complications: Cilnidipine helps prevent complications such as angina, heart attacks, and strokes by reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood flow.

1. Keep Cilacar 20 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20 to 25°C.
2. Shield the medicine from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
3. Store it in a place inaccessible to children.
4. Use the product before its expiry date.
