Sacuval 50 Tablet is used to treat chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction in adults, reducing symptoms such as breathlessness and fatigue and lowering the risk of hospitalisation.

Uses of Sacuval 50 Tablet are:

• Chronic Heart Failure: Helps manage heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.

Sacuval 50 Tablet achieves its therapeutic effects through two active ingredients:

• Sacubitril (24 mg): This ingredient inhibits an enzyme called neprilysin in your body. Neprilysin is responsible for breaking down peptides that relax blood vessels and eliminate sodium and fluid. By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril increases these peptides, leading to lower blood pressure and reduced strain on the heart.

• Valsartan (26 mg): Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. Angiotensin II is a substance that narrows blood vessels, increasing blood pressure and making the heart work harder. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, valsartan helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the workload on the heart.
