Sacuval 50 Tablet is used for the following:

• Manages chronic heart failure by improving heart muscle contraction.

• Lowers the risk of cardiovascular death.

• Reduces hospitalisation for heart failure-related issues.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don't break, crush or chew it.

• Don't take more than what your doctor has recommended.

Sacuval 50 Tablet is taken orally.

Sacuval 50 Tablet achieves its therapeutic effects through two active ingredients:

• Sacubitril (24 mg): This ingredient inhibits an enzyme called neprilysin in your body. Neprilysin is responsible for breaking down peptides that relax blood vessels and eliminate sodium and fluid. By inhibiting neprilysin, sacubitril increases these peptides, leading to lower blood pressure and reduced strain on the heart.

• Valsartan (26 mg): Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. Angiotensin II is a substance that narrows blood vessels, increasing blood pressure and making the heart work harder. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, valsartan helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the workload on the heart.
