Sacuval 50 Tablet is used to treat long-term heart failure with a weakened heart-pumping action in adults, easing breathlessness and fatigue and lowering the risk of being admitted to hospital.
It contains sacubitril and valsartan, an angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI). Together they relax the blood vessels and help the body clear excess fluid and salt, easing the strain on the heart.
Take it as prescribed, and do not stop it without medical advice. Regular blood pressure, kidney function and potassium checks are needed.
It must not be started within 36 hours of stopping an ACE inhibitor, and must not be used in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, high potassium or previous facial swelling (angioedema). Report swelling of the face, lips or throat immediately.
