Razel 10 Tablet has the following uses:

• Managing high blood cholesterol levels in adults, teenagers and children over 10 years old

• Helping patients with inherited high cholesterol conditions, including Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia and Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia

• Handling Nonfamilial Hypercholesterolemia and Mixed Dyslipidemia when diet and lifestyle changes aren't enough

• Slowing down the progression of atherosclerosis, a condition where arteries become narrow due to fat buildup

• Reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke in individuals with multiple risk factors but no evident heart disease

• Lowering the likelihood of procedures to restore blood flow to the heart in such individuals

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• You can take the tablet at any time of the day, with or without food.

• Do not exceed or lower the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• If you stop taking this medicine, it might affect your cholesterol levels. So, always consult your doctor before you decide to stop.

Razel 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Razel 10 Tablet consists of rosuvastatin (10 mg), which works as follows:

• Blocks HMG-CoA reductase: Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme plays a key role in making cholesterol inside your body.

• Reduces blood cholesterol: By blocking the activity of HMG-CoA reductase, rosuvastatin effectively decreases the levels of blood cholesterol.

• Raises good cholesterol: Aside from lowering bad cholesterol levels, rosuvastatin also modestly raises the levels of good HDL cholesterol, contributing to overall heart health.

• Inhibits hepatic synthesis of VLDL: Rosuvastatin inhibits the liver's production of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), which is a precursor to LDL or "bad" cholesterol. This results in fewer VLDL and LDL particles in your bloodstream.

• Store Razel 10 Tablet in a cool and dry place, ideally not exceeding 30°C.
