Razel-Ez 10 Tablet is used for the following conditions:

• Managing high cholesterol levels in the blood

• Lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglyceride levels

• Increasing good cholesterol (HDL) levels

• Preventing heart disease and cardiovascular events in patients at risk

• Managing familial hypercholesterolemia, a genetic condition causing high cholesterol levels

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Never take more than the dose recommended by your doctor.

• Always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Razel-Ez 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Razel-Ez 10 Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together:

• Ezetimibe (10 mg): This ingredient localises in the small intestine and inhibits the absorption of dietary and biliary cholesterol, reducing its delivery to the liver. As a result, the clearance of cholesterol from the blood increases, leading to lower cholesterol levels.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): As a part of the statin class of medications, rosuvastatin works by competitively inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme crucial in cholesterol biosynthesis. This action increases the number of LDL receptors on liver cells, enhancing LDL uptake and catabolism while reducing the production of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL).

• Keep Razel-Ez 10 Tablet in its original packaging until needed.

• Store at room temperature, below 30°C.

• Place the medicine in a dry area, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure it's out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use.

• To help manage high cholesterol levels, reduce your intake of saturated fats; opt for lean meats, low-fat dairy products, and increase your intake of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

• Regular physical activity is crucial; try to incorporate at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling, into your daily routine.
