Amlosafe 5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and chest pain by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow. This reduces the workload on the heart and helps lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications with regular use.

Here are some key instructions for taking Amlosafe 5 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• It can be taken with or without food, as per your doctor's advice.
• Try to take the medicine at the same time every day, to get the most benefit from it.
• Never take more than your doctor has prescribed.
• If you feel unwell or have any concerns about your medication, consult your doctor.

Amlosafe 5 Tablet is taken orally.

Amlosafe 5 Tablet contains amlodipine (5 mg), which acts on your body in two main ways:

• Relaxing Blood Vessels: The amlodipine in Amlosafe 5 Tablet works by relaxing the walls of your blood vessels. This makes it easier for blood to flow through them and reduces the pressure exerted on the vessel walls.
• Reducing Heart Workload: By improving the supply of oxygen to the heart, amlodipine helps lower the amount of work that the heart must do. This action can help prevent chest pain associated with conditions like angina.

• Store Amlosafe 5 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.
• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
• Ensure your medicine is stored in a secure place, out of the reach of children.
• Always check the expiry date on the pack before taking the tablet.

• Since Amlosafe 5 Tablet manages hypertension, try to maintain a diet low in salt to help control your blood pressure levels.
• Regular physical activity, such as brisk walking or cycling, can also help manage high blood pressure and reduce the frequency of angina attacks.
