Telmikind-AM Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and to reduce the risk of serious heart-related problems such as heart attack and stroke. By relaxing and widening the blood vessels, it improves blood flow and lowers the pressure on the heart, supporting long-term blood pressure control.

Primary Uses of Telmikind-AM Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Lowers raised blood pressure by relaxing and widening the blood vessels.

• Cardiovascular Protection: Helps reduce the long-term risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.

Follow these instructions while taking Telmikind-AM Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Always take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor.
• Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor first.
• Remember not to remove the tablet from its strip until immediately before usage.

Telmikind-AM Tablet is taken orally.

Telmikind Am Tablet 10 composition contains Amlodipine (5 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by blocking the binding of a hormone called angiotensin II to specific receptors in various tissues of your body. Blocking this hormone has two primary effects: it dilates the blood vessels and decreases the production of aldosterone, a hormone that causes salt and water retention in your body.
• Amlodipine (5 mg): Classified as a calcium channel blocker, amlodipine works by inhibiting the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells in your body, reducing peripheral vascular resistance. By doing so, it helps relax and widen your blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely.

• Store Telmikind-AM Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Keep it in a place that's protected from light and moisture.
• Remember, this medicine is sensitive to moisture, so don't remove it from its strip until you're ready to take it.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Try reducing your intake of salty foods. Too much salt can increase your blood pressure.
• Regular physical activity can also help lower your blood pressure. Aim for moderate-intensity exercises like brisk walking or cycling for about 30 minutes most days of the week.
