Dynaglipt M Tablet is used to manage blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. It combines teneligliptin, which helps the body release more insulin, and Metformin, which reduces glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, helping to control blood sugar levels effectively.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Dynaglipt-M Tablet works in your body through two active components, metformin and teneligliptin:

• Metformin (500 mg): Metformin is a biguanide that reduces both basal and postprandial blood glucose levels in your body. It decreases the production of glucose in your liver, reduces the absorption of glucose in your intestines and enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilisation. Metformin does not stimulate insulin secretion; therefore, it carries a low risk of hypoglycaemia.
• Teneligliptin (20 mg): Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor. This compound slows down the inactivation of hormones called incretins, such as GLP-1 and GIP. By extending the activity of these incretins, teneligliptin enhances the secretion of insulin and decreases the release of glucagon from cells in your pancreas in a glucose-dependent manner. This dual action results in an overall reduction of blood glucose levels with a low risk of hypoglycaemia.
