Atchol-ASP Capsule is used in adults to lower cholesterol and reduce the long-term risk of heart attack and stroke in those at high cardiovascular risk.

Uses of Atchol-ASP Capsule are:

• Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention: Helps lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in high-risk individuals.
• Cholesterol Management: Lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol, triglycerides, and total cholesterol, and may increase HDL (good) cholesterol.
• Antiplatelet Protection: Aspirin reduces blood clot formation to protect the arteries.

Here are some instructions to follow while taking Atchol-ASP Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Don't crush or chew the capsule.

• Always take this medicine at the same time every day for the best results.

• Never exceed the recommended dose, and always consult your doctor before making any changes to your dosage.

Atchol-ASP Capsule is taken orally.

Atchol-ASP Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient works by blocking the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which plays a crucial role in cholesterol production in your liver. By reducing cholesterol synthesis, Atorvastatin effectively manages the levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides in your blood while increasing HDL cholesterol levels.

• Aspirin (75 mg): This ingredient is responsible for reducing pain, inflammation, and fever in your body. At low doses, it also helps in preventing the formation of blood clots by irreversibly inhibiting platelet aggregation.

• Store Atchol-ASP Capsule in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.

• The ideal temperature for storage is 15-30°C.

• Avoid exposure to moisture and excessive heat.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Remember to use it before the expiry date indicated on the packet.

• Adopt a heart-friendly diet: Limit your intake of trans fats, saturated fats, and cholesterol-rich foods. Include more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and omega-3 fatty acids in your meals.
