Lipikind AS Capsule is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It combines atorvastatin, which lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol, and aspirin, which provides antiplatelet activity, reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke.

To ensure safe and effective use of Lipikind-AS Capsule, follow these guidelines:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the capsule.
• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Lipikind-AS Capsule is taken orally.

Lipikind-AS Capsule contains two active ingredients that work in harmony:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This component prevents the formation of blood clots by irreversibly inhibiting an enzyme in your body known as cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1). This enzyme is responsible for the production of thromboxane A2, which promotes the aggregation of platelets, the cells that contribute to clotting. Thus, by blocking this enzyme, aspirin reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes.
• Atorvastatin (10 mg): Atorvastatin belongs to a class of medicines known as statins, which inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme that plays a crucial role in cholesterol production in your liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, atorvastatin decreases the levels of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides, while increasing the amount of 'good' cholesterol (HDL-C) in your body. This helps in reducing the risk of heart disease.

• Store Lipikind-AS Capsule in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.
