Lipikind-AS Capsule is used for managing a variety of health conditions, including:

• Lowering high cholesterol levels in your body

• Preventing heart attacks in individuals with cardiovascular risk factors

• Decreasing the chances of strokes in patients with cardiovascular disease

• Controlling elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides in patients with primary hyperlipidemia

Lipikind-AS Capsule contains two active ingredients that work in harmony:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This component prevents the formation of blood clots by irreversibly inhibiting an enzyme in your body known as cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1). This enzyme is responsible for the production of thromboxane A2, which promotes the aggregation of platelets, the cells that contribute to clotting. Thus, by blocking this enzyme, aspirin reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): Atorvastatin belongs to a class of medicines known as statins, which inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme that plays a crucial role in cholesterol production in your liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, atorvastatin decreases the levels of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides, while increasing the amount of 'good' cholesterol (HDL-C) in your body. This helps in reducing the risk of heart disease.

• Store Lipikind-AS Capsule in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.
