Atchol ASP Capsule 10 is used to lower high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, particularly in people with coronary heart disease or diabetes.

Uses of Atchol ASP Capsule 10 are:

• Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with coronary heart disease or diabetes.
• Cholesterol Control: Lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and raises good cholesterol (HDL).
• Blood Clot Prevention: Helps prevent harmful blood clots from forming.

• Swallow one capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• You can take it at any time of the day, either on an empty stomach or after meals.

Atchol Asp Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Atchol Asp Capsule 10 combines two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient works by selectively inhibiting an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme is responsible for transforming HMG-CoA into mevalonate, a precursor of cholesterol. With atorvastatin blocking this process, there is a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, along with a slight increase in HDL cholesterol levels. The overall effect reduces the risk of plaque formation and progression within your blood vessels.
• Aspirin (75 mg): Aspirin halts an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX), which usually aids in producing thromboxane A2. Thromboxane A2 encourages blood clotting and narrows blood vessels. By blocking COX, aspirin prevents blood clots that could potentially block arteries and cause heart attacks or strokes.

• Keep Atchol Asp Capsule 10 in its original packaging until it's time to take it.
• Store at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect it from direct light and keep it dry, away from moisture.
