Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule is used for the following:

• Management of high cholesterol levels
• Reduction of inflammation in cardiovascular diseases
• Prevention of blood clot formation
• Secondary prevention in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease
• Reducing the risk of future heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular death in high-risk patients

Follow these instructions while taking Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule.
• It's vital to take this medicine at the same time each day to ensure its effectiveness.
• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule is taken orally.

Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 Mg): This component permanently blocks an enzyme called COX-1. As a result, it reduces the production of thromboxane A2, a substance that causes blood platelets to stick together, potentially forming clots. By preventing clot formation, aspirin helps reduce the risk of heart attacks or strokes.
• Atorvastatin (10 Mg): Atorvastatin is a statin, a class of lipid-regulating medicines aimed at lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It is prescribed when lifestyle and dietary changes alone are not sufficient to control lipid levels. Furthermore, for individuals with an increased risk of heart disease, atorvastatin may be used to prevent cardiovascular events even when cholesterol levels appear normal.
