New Modlip-ASG 75 Capsule is used to help prevent heart attacks and strokes in people with high cholesterol and other heart risk factors. It is used for long-term protection.
It contains atorvastatin and aspirin, which lower cholesterol and reduce the formation of blood clots. Swallow the capsule whole as prescribed and do not stop it without medical advice, as stopping aspirin can increase the risk of a clot.
A heart-healthy lifestyle supports this medicine. A diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity, keeping to a healthy weight, limiting alcohol, and quitting smoking all help protect the heart and blood vessels.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, liver disease, or planned surgery or dental work. Report any unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness promptly. Your doctor may check liver enzymes and cholesterol. It is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
