Dytor 5 Tablet 15

Dytor-5 Tablet is used to reduce the swelling (edema) caused by excess water in the body in people with heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease. It is also prescribed to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and help control fluid retention in cases of chronic kidney failure.

• Take this medicine with a glass of water. 
• It can be taken with or without food or as directed by your doctor. 
• Do not chew or crush the tablet.
• Consume the tablet at a fixed time each day.

Dytor-5 tablets are taken orally. 

Dytor-5 tablet contains the following component:

• Torsemide (5 MG) - It works by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the kidneys, leading to increased urine output. This helps to reduce fluid accumulation in the body and reduce symptoms associated with conditions that cause fluid retention. 

• Store the medication at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the tablets out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Attend regular medical check-ups as advised to monitor liver and kidney function, electrolyte levels, and blood pressure while using this tablet. This will ensure proper management and minimise potential side effects.
