CompositionDapacose 10 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults. It is a single-ingredient SGLT2 inhibitor containing dapagliflozin.
It is also used to reduce the risk of hospital stays for heart failure and to protect kidney function in chronic kidney disease. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when you feel well.
Drink enough water through the day, keep the genital area clean and dry to lower the risk of infection, and control portions of rice, roti and sweets.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or repeated genital or urinary infections, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Seek urgent help for nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, severe tiredness or difficulty breathing, as this medicine can rarely cause diabetic ketoacidosis even when blood sugar looks normal. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
