Dapacose 10 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults, to reduce the risk of hospital stays for heart failure, and to protect kidney function in chronic kidney disease.
It contains dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor. It works by helping the kidneys remove excess glucose from the body in the urine, which lowers blood sugar and eases the strain on the heart and kidneys.
Take it with or without food as prescribed, and stay well hydrated.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems or repeated genital or urinary infections before use. Seek urgent help for nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, severe tiredness or difficulty breathing, as, rarely, this class can cause diabetic ketoacidosis even when blood sugar looks normal.
