Dapaturn 10 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes, reduce the risk of hospitalisation for heart failure and protect kidney function in adults.

Uses of Dapaturn 10 Tablet are:

• Type 2 Diabetes: Improves blood sugar control alongside diet and exercise.
• Heart Failure Risk: Reduces the risk of hospitalisation for heart failure.
• Kidney Protection: Helps slow the progression of chronic kidney disease.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Dapaturn 10 Tablet contains dapagliflozin (10 mg) and works on your body in the following ways:

• SGLT2 Inhibition: Dapagliflozin blocks a protein called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) in your kidneys. This protein usually helps your kidneys reabsorb glucose from your urine back into your bloodstream.

• Increased Glucose Excretion: By inhibiting SGLT2, dapagliflozin prevents glucose reabsorption, increasing the amount of glucose excreted through urine.

• Lower Blood Sugar Levels: With less glucose being reabsorbed into your bloodstream, dapagliflozin effectively reduces your blood sugar levels.

• Keep your Dapaturn 10 Tablet in a tightly closed container.

• Store it at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
