Dapaturn 10 Tablet is an SGLT2 inhibitor medicine used to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is also prescribed to reduce the risk of hospitalisation for heart failure and to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease.
It contains dapagliflozin (10 mg). Take it as prescribed, with or without food, once daily in the morning. Continue taking it as part of your long-term management plan even if your blood sugar levels are controlled.
A structured diabetes care plan is important. Follow a balanced diet, stay well hydrated throughout the day by drinking sufficient water, participate in regular exercise, and monitor your blood sugar as advised.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, a history of frequent urinary or genital infections, or are on a low-salt diet. Seek immediate emergency care if you experience nausea, vomiting, severe stomach pain, or difficulty breathing, as these may indicate diabetic ketoacidosis.
