Dapaturn 10 Tablet is used for enhancing blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, in conjunction with diet and exercise. It lowers the risk of hospitalization due to heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors. It also decreases the risk of kidney function decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, and heart failure hospitalization in adults with chronic kidney disease at risk of progression.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Dapaturn 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Dapaturn 10 Tablet contains dapagliflozin (10 mg) and works on your body in the following ways:

• SGLT2 Inhibition: Dapagliflozin blocks a protein called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) in your kidneys. This protein usually helps your kidneys reabsorb glucose from your urine back into your bloodstream.

• Increased Glucose Excretion: By inhibiting SGLT2, dapagliflozin prevents glucose reabsorption, increasing the amount of glucose excreted through urine.

• Lower Blood Sugar Levels: With less glucose being reabsorbed into your bloodstream, dapagliflozin effectively reduces your blood sugar levels.

• Keep your Dapaturn 10 Tablet in a tightly closed container.

• Store it at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Make sure it is protected from moisture and light.
