Cilacar Tm 50 Tablet 15 is used to manage high blood pressure and resistant hypertension, especially when a single medicine is not effective. It supports blood pressure control in diabetics and high-risk patients, promotes relaxation of blood vessels, protects the heart, and lowers the long-term risk of cardiovascular events in individuals above 55 years of age.

Follow these instructions while taking Cilacar Tm 50 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet as this affects its extended-release action.

• Take the tablet at the same time each day.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, but be consistent.

Cilacar Tm 50 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Cilacar Tm 50 Tablet 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower your blood pressure:

• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): As a selective beta-1 blocker, metoprolol acts on specific receptors in your heart. It slows down your heart rate, reduces how forcefully your heart contracts, and decreases cardiac output, all of which help lower blood pressure.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This calcium channel blocker works by blocking L-type and N-type calcium channels in your blood vessels. This causes the blood vessels to relax and widen (vasodilation), reducing resistance to blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
