• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Met XL Trio 50 Tablet has three active ingredients, each with distinct beneficial actions:

• Metoprolol Succinate (50 mg): This cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker reduces heart rate and heart muscle contractility, leading to a decrease in cardiac output. The extended-release formulation allows for a more stable and prolonged effect compared to immediate-release metoprolol tablets.

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker reduces the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells.
