Telmijub Mcl 50 Tablet 10 is a three-in-one blood pressure medicine used to manage high blood pressure when a single medicine is not enough. It is a combination medicine containing cilnidipine (a calcium channel blocker), metoprolol succinate (a beta-blocker) and telmisartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker), and belongs to a class of medicines called antihypertensive combinations.
This medicine works by relaxing blood vessels (cilnidipine), slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of each heartbeat (metoprolol succinate), and blocking the hormone angiotensin II that narrows blood vessels (telmisartan). Together these actions lower blood pressure. Take it at the same time each day, as directed by your doctor, and swallow the tablet whole.
Reducing salt in your diet (including pickles, papad and packaged snacks), staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding smoking and limiting alcohol can support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a slow heart rate, diabetes, or kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines and supplements you take. Your doctor may check your potassium levels. Do not use it during pregnancy unless your doctor advises it, and ask your doctor before use during breastfeeding. Stopping a beta-blocker suddenly can be harmful, so follow your doctor's advice on the dose and duration.
