CompositionRazel Gold 20 Capsule is used to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other clot-related cardiovascular events in appropriately selected patients. It is a combination medicine containing aspirin and clopidogrel, two antiplatelet medicines, and rosuvastatin, a statin.
Aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet aggregation and clot formation, while rosuvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol. Together, these actions support cardiovascular risk reduction.
Follow a heart-healthy diet low in saturated fat, with less fried food, ghee and butter, and more vegetables, dal and whole grains. Stay physically active and avoid smoking.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, bleeding problems or stomach ulcers, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take, especially other blood thinners. Tell your doctor or dentist before any procedure. Report unexplained muscle pain, unusual bruising or dark stools. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
