Arbitel-Trio 50 Tablet comprises three active ingredients that work synergistically:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This ingredient inhibits the influx of calcium into vascular smooth muscle cells, which are the muscle cells in your blood vessels. By doing so, it causes these cells to relax and results in vasodilation, a widening of blood vessels that reduces peripheral vascular resistance and lowers blood pressure.
• Metoprolol Succinate (47.5 mg): Acting as a betablocker, metoprolol succinate targets beta1 receptors in your heart. These receptors normally respond to adrenaline to increase heart rate. By blocking these receptors, metoprolol succinate slows down your heart rate and reduces cardiac output – the amount of blood your heart pumps out – thereby lowering blood pressure.
