Ticacip 90 Tablet 14

Ticacip 90 Tablet 14 is used to manage acute coronary syndrome.

Uses of Ticacip 90 Tablet 14 are:

• Acute Coronary Syndrome: Helps lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death in people with unstable angina or a heart attack.
• After Angioplasty: Helps prevent blood clots in people undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), a procedure to open blocked coronary arteries.

Follow these instructions while taking Ticacip 90 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Ticacip 90 Tablet is taken orally.

Ticacip 90 Tablet contains ticagrelor (90mg) and works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits Platelet Activation and Aggregation: Ticagrelor functions by reducing the activation and aggregation of platelets. These are blood cells that are crucial in the formation of blood clots.

• Blocks P2Y12 Receptor: This medication acts by blocking the P2Y12 receptor, a protein found on the surface of platelets. This receptor binds to a molecule called adenosine diphosphate (ADP). By disrupting this interaction, ticagrelor decreases the risk of harmful blood clots forming.

• Store Ticacip 90 Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C and 25°C.

• Keep this medicine in a closed container, ensuring it's shielded from moisture and light.

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children to prevent accidental consumption.

• Remember to use Ticacip 90 Tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Maintain a heart-healthy diet: Consuming a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains can help manage heart conditions. Limit intake of trans fats, saturated fats, and cholesterol.
