Ketomac Shampoo 110ml

Ketomac Shampoo is used to treat dandruff, which causes scalp flaking, and fungal infections like tinea capitis, resulting in an itchy, scaly rash. It is also effective in managing seborrheic dermatitis, an inflammatory condition causing flaky, yellowish to white scales on oily areas like the scalp. This shampoo soothes the scalp, reduces itching, and promotes better scalp health.

• Ketomac Shampoo is mainly meant for use on the scalp. 
• Wet your hair with lukewarm water, take the required amount of the shampoo on your palms, and apply it to your scalp after mixing it on your palms. 
• Rub the shampoo thoroughly onto your scalp using your fingertips. Avoid scratching with your nails. 
• Leave the shampoo for 3 to 4 minutes, then rinse off the shampoo thoroughly. 
• Do not take more than the prescribed amount of shampoo. It won't give any extra good results, but will waste the product, and potentially irritate your scalp. 

Ketomac Shampoo is applied topically.

Ketomac Shampoo contains the following component:

• Ketoconazole (2% w/v): It is an azole derivative. It works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membranes. This disruption weakens the cell membrane, leading to the death of the fungi. It effectively reduces scalp flaking, itching, and inflammation and promotes a healthier scalp.

• Store Ketomac Shampoo at a slightly cool temperature and away from direct sunlight. 
• Keep the shampoo in the same container it came in. Do not transfer it to another container. 
• Store this shampoo at a place where children and pets can't reach. 
• Check the expiration date of the product and dispose it, if it is no longer fit for use.

• Stress can contribute to the worsening of many scalp conditions. Practice meditation or engage in activities to reduce stress levels.
• Protect your scalp from harsh weather conditions. Wear a hat when exposed to strong sunlight or extreme weather conditions.
• Scratching can worsen scalp conditions and lead to further irritation or infection. Resist the urge to scratch and find alternative ways to relieve any itchiness.
• Choose gentle, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners suitable for your specific scalp condition. 
• Avoid excessive heat or styling products that can damage your hair and scalp.
• Avoid washing your hair too often. It can strip away natural oils and contribute to dryness. 
• Certain hair products, including hair dyes, bleaches, and styling products containing alcohol, can further dry out and damage your hair. Avoid or minimise such products and opt for more gentle, natural alternatives.
