Vasoglor 90 Tablet is used to help prevent serious cardiovascular events in adults with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) or a history of heart attack (myocardial infarction). It helps reduce the risk of a further heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death.
It contains ticagrelor, an antiplatelet medicine. Take it as prescribed, usually alongside low-dose aspirin (up to 100 mg), as advised by your doctor. Do not stop this medicine without your doctor's advice, as sudden discontinuation increases the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Attending all follow-up cardiology appointments, reporting any unusual bleeding promptly, and avoiding aspirin doses above 100 mg, which can reduce the medicine's effectiveness, all support safe treatment alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any bleeding disorders, history of stroke, severe liver disease, or other antiplatelet or anticoagulant medicines you are taking. This medicine can cause breathlessness that is not related to lung or heart problems; tell your doctor if this occurs, but do not stop the medicine without advice. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
